Chai chai bole kebol daki,

Ta dekhe shey bole-'ke khule dilo kol'?

'Amay niye kebol thatta kora,

Jei na boli eite take,

Shey bole,'jao dekho, ke jaano dake!'.

Ranna ghore dhukei dekhi,

Bishal iidur marche uki.

Kaan fatiye kori chitkaar,

Shey eshe bole, 'idur na tomar, bhoy ta kaar?'.

Prayeshoi khub koshto hoye,

Jol jhore noyon boye,

Rakhe eshe tokhon hathti kadhe,

Bole,'chole jabo khon, omni kore keu kaade?'.
